Important: Use the ZFR1821 or ZFR1822 ZFR Pro Wireless Field Bus Routers only to provide an input to equipment under normal operating conditions. Where failure or malfunction of a ZFR Pro Router or loss of communications due to wireless interference could lead to personal injury or property damage to the controlled equipment or other property, additional precautions must be designed into the control system. Incorporate and maintain other devices, such as supervisory or alarm systems or safety or limit controls, intended to warn of or protect against failure or malfunction of a ZFR Pro Router.

A ZFR1821 or ZFR1822 Pro Wireless Field Bus Router is part of a Verasys Wireless Field Bus System.

When used as a router connected to a field controller, a ZFR Pro Router provides a wireless interface between:

-a wireless enabled field controller (WEFC) and a supervisory controller (by means of a wireless coordinator)
-a field controller and associated WRZ Series Wireless Room Sensors

When used as a repeater connected to a separate power supply, a ZFR Pro Router can extend the communications range between devices and strengthens the wireless mesh network.
